PROVERBS 23:1–5
A neighbour once filled a bucket from a tap, only to find a crack draining it dry. Wealth can be like that—promising fullness, yet quietly slipping away when we trust it too much.
Proverbs 23:1–5 warns us not to exhaust ourselves chasing riches. Money can vanish suddenly, like an eagle taking flight. Scripture reminds us that wealth is uncertain and never meant to carry our hope.
Our careers can wobble, prices can rise, and savings feel fragile. God invites us to invest instead in reverence for Him. Jesus offers a future that cannot leak away, whatever life throws at us.
🙏 I pray that the Lord will teach you to trust Him more than fleeting riches, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
