PSALM 119:33-40
My Internet connection had stopped working when I woke up one morning. After some tests, my service provider found that my modem needed to be changed, but the earliest they could do it was the next day. When I realised I would be without Internet access for 24 hours, I panicked some more. I wondered aloud, “How am I going to survive without it?”
Then I asked myself, “Would I be concerned if my relationship with God were to be disturbed for a day?” We maintain our relationship with God through spending time in His Word and praying. Doers of the Word is what we are expected to be (James 1:22-24).
The author of Psalm 119 understood the significance of having a relationship with God. He prayed to God to teach him His statutes and to make His law clear to him. He prayed that he would follow it with all of his heart, walk in the path of God’s commands, and keep his eyes away from worthless things. The psalmist remains “connected” to God through pondering on His Word and then applying it.
God has provided us with His Word to serve as a lamp to our feet and a light to guide us to Him.
🙏🏼 Lord Jesus, recharge our spiritual batteries as we plug into You.

I love to be having daily dosages of the word of God to kick start my day. Thanks.
Thank God.
