CALM IN THE STORM

LUKE 24:36–43

After losing his wealth in the Great Chicago Fire and later his daughters in the SS Ville du Havre disaster, Horatio Spafford wrote It Is Well with My Soul, expressing peace in grief.

In Luke 24:36–43, Jesus appeared to frightened disciples, bringing them His peace. Thinking Him a ghost, they doubted, but He showed His wounds and ate before them, proving He was alive. His presence replaced fear with assurance.

Likewise, Christ meets us in anxiety and uncertainty. When fear rises, remember He is alive and near. Trust His promises, invite Him into your troubles, and rest in His peace, which calms every troubled heart.

🙏 May the Lord Jesus grant you His peace amid life’s storms. Amen.
