HABAKKUK 1:2–11
She experienced infertility after marrying, expecting immediate childbirth. Questioning God’s ability to change her circumstances, she wondered how long it would last.
Are you waiting for justice, a cure for sickness, or God’s intervention for a financial challenge?
In the seventh century BC, the prophet Habakkuk expressed his frustration with the Lord for allowing injustice and corruption to persist in Judah. He questioned why a just and powerful God did not do anything, as he believed God should have intervened.
Sometimes, we feel like God is doing nothing, like Habakkuk, who repeatedly asks Him, “How long?”
God hears our burdens and cares for us, as seen with Habakkuk. We must continue casting them on Him, as He will provide an answer in His time.
🙏Lord, we know that You hear our cries and will answer in accordance with Your perfect plan and purposes.
