DEUTERONOMY 32:7–12
Joy’s daughter returned home from an overseas trip feeling unwell. After her pain worsened, Joy and her husband took her to the hospital. After a few hours, a nurse assured Joy that her daughter would be okay. Joy felt peace and love, remembering that the Lord is the perfect parent who nurtures and comforts us during difficult times.
In Deuteronomy, the Lord watched over His people as a loving parent, never leaving them, and like an eagle, carried them aloft despite hardships and strife. In their struggles, He never abandoned them.
We face various challenges, but we can find comfort and courage knowing that God will never leave us. He will spread His wings to catch us when we feel down.
